Your entry was thorough, interesting, and focused. Who would have known Edith Wharton’s inspiration was drawn from witness to an accident! And who would have thought little children’s harmless play could result in tragedy? The social commentary and significance of the work was well put. The “premise” section was very interesting while the “general aspect” section made me want to read on and got me curious about the plot. It was convenient for the reader that the screenshots were pasted in Paint. However, I do have one question regarding the reception of the novel: how many copies did it sell during its first printing?
I made my changes to Wikipedia at 5:22pm Friday March 5. So hopefully I will have those up by the end of the day tomorrow or Thursday.

So in looking further at the Ethan Frome entry on Wikipedia, I came up with four main "branches" for research.

1. Opening, setting,

2. Plot

3. Criticisms/ reviews

4. Wharton's history and impact on the text.

Now there are 5 of us and I figured the criticisms/ review part would probably take two people. So we can split that up tomorrow during class and then I will post it up on here.

See you in class!
Yeah, that sounds great Ashley. You are not playing around girl. LOL. Once everything is split out evenly within the group, getting an A should be a piece of cake.
rough draft" pages so we cal post there before we go to edit Wikipedia. So I know Dr. Dail said to do it in chunks and not all at once so maybe we can start researching and putting up on the rough draft page and attempting to post small pieces to wikipedia. Although! Do be sure you add the screen shot when you add your material so she knows we will all contributed!

I went ahead and have posted the screen shots for the entry as is, so just post below that.

Okay so we have to post our topic choice for our editing wikipedia project tomorrow ( not sure if it needs to happen before or during class :/) However, the possibilities prof Dail gave us suggested important figures and authors in the field of English Ed, well-known or important text in the field, or important concepts in the teaching of writing grammar, literature, literacy or other related subject....so! I was thinking maybe if we pick a book or an author on a school suggested reading list? Maybe Lord of Flies, Fahrenheit 451, Secret Life of Bees, Cold Mountain, etc... Preferably one most of us have read. This way we can maybe form ideas of how the author's background influenced the book and such. Let me know what you guys think! I'll see you tomorrow in class

Hopefully we can talk about it real quick before class starts. There's not too much information about it on wikipedia already so hopefully it will be okay. If not, I guess we can change it after?
